Pastoral Counseling at Highland Park United Methodist Church

Pastoral Counseling at Highland Park United Methodist Church

Through a covenant relationship between HPUMC and The Marriage and Family Group, PLLC (TMAFG), Gregg.jpgGregg Medlyn provides counseling to individuals, families, and groups at the church on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. He will also see church members at TMAFG’s office in the Meadows Building off of 75 and Lovers Lane.

As Counselor in Residence, the covenant with TMAFG calls for Gregg to:
  • Provide professional pastoral counseling and psychotherapy for a standard fee as well as making available a sliding scale fee for persons in financial need. These services are not exclusive to members of HPUMC.
  • Be sensitive to people’s diverse spiritual needs, values, and traditions and to respect and use the strengths of each person’s faith. Gregg is very committed to integration of religious thought with behavioral science.
  • Provide leadership for church worship and education events.
