Where do we go if we are visitors?

For families with Nursery or Younger Children (birth through Pre-K), the 1st floor D6 Families Visitor's Check-In is located between Rooms 129 and 135 in the Wallace Building.

For families with Elementary Children (1st-5th grade), the 2nd floor D6 Families Visitor's Check-In is located in the 2nd floor Gathering Area. If you take the main elevators to the 2nd floor, enter the glassed area on your left and proceed to the Visitor's Check-in Desk.

For general church information (Worship Times, Adult Sunday School classes), the church Welcome Center is located in the main hallway of the Wallace Building directly across from Wesley Hall.

What about Sunday School?

Sunday school for children ages 2 years old-5th grade takes place from 9:30-10:30 am and from 11:00 am-12:00 pm.  In Younger Children Classes, we have about 18-25 students per room with 3 to 6 teachers. In Elementary Classes, each age level meets in their own large group room and we have about 60-75 kids with 6-10 teachers. Lessons are biblically based with fun and inspiring music, skits, games and in some cases DVD components.

What about the Nursery?

The Nursery receives children from ages birth-2 years old from 8:30am-12:00 pm. From 8:30-9:30, the Nursery receives children ages birth-5th grade since Younger Children and Elementary Sunday School classes do not meet during the 8:30 hour.

No reservations are necessary, but you will be asked to fill out an enrollment form on your first Sunday using the Nursery.  The Nursery is staffed by paid caregivers and supported by the Nursery/KidCare Coordinator on staff at the church as well as a group of wonderful volunteers.

How do we enroll our children in Sunday School?

You can either register at the D6 Families Visitor's Check-In Desks on Sunday Morning, or you can click here to register online.  Once your child is enrolled in a Sunday School class, you can go to any of the electronic kiosks available on the first or second floor to check your child in and print out their nametag.

Is there Sunday School at 11:00 am for children?

Yes!  The 11:00 Sunday School hour for our preschool aged children offers a different curriculum than the 9:30 hour.  For our elementary students, the curriculum is the same for both 9:30am and 11aam Sunday School hours.

Which worship service is best for children?

There are children's worship packets in the Sanctuary and Cornerstone services.  Cornerstone offers a children's message on the 1st Sunday of each month.

What are the other activities for children?

Vacation Bible School, Family Bible Studies, Sky Ranch Summer Launch Camp,  Advent Festival, Ash Wednesday Pancake Supper, NewSong Children's Choirs, and so much more!

This is a big church.  How do we get involved?

The best way is to volunteer.  We always have many options in our ministry or in another ministry in our church!  Teaching or helping with Sunday School provides an opportunity to meet other parents and your child's church friends.  Contact us for more information on how you can get involved!
