Terms and Conditions

 

Liability Release

 

 

1.  The tournament for 3-8th Grade is a 3-on-3 basketball tournamen.  The tournament is played half court.  Each team can consist of 4 players with same age and sex teams.  The tournament divisions are by sex and grade level.

 

2.  The tournament for 9-12th grde is a 4-on-4 basketball tournament.  The tournament is played the width of the full court (goals at each end)   Each team can consist of 5 players.  The high school tournament divisions are 9t- 10th grade division and 11-12th grade division.  teams can consist of player of the same sex from eith ergrade of the division.

 

3.  Payment must be done in full during online team registration

 

4.  Player substitutions may be made to the roster prior to the ovvical start of the tournament

 

5.  Teams are divided into age divisions and are guaranteed a minimum of 2 games.  This is a double elimination tournament.  Games will be played to the first of 15 baskets (by 1)  or 20 minutes in time and are subject to the Official Tournament Rules and Regulations.

 

6.  HPUMC is not responsible for determinng a particular athlete's eligibility to play in the torunament.  If you have questions, you should contact your basketball coach or athletic director.

 

7.  HPUMC reserves the right to limit the number of teams due to court space or lack of teams in a division.  All teams are accepted on a first come first serve basis

 

8.  The Captian of each team MUST pick up their teams registration packet, wich inclueds tournament schedule, Offical Rules, and the tournament t-shirt on Wednesday, February 17, from 4-6pm.  In the parking garage of the Biggers building at 5817 Hillcrest Ave.  (Across the street from the church)

 

9. Games start on Thursday at 7pm, continue on Friday at 5pm and through Saturday and Sunday afternnon if needed.

 

10.  By registering a team, all players and families of the tournament, realize that there are risks that come from our participation in a basketball tournament and we release HPUMC, its staff and volunteers from any and all liability that arrises from our participation.
